Nothing appeals more to children or the child in all of us than a Disney vacation to a Disney theme park. With both Walt Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California, you can book Disney vacation packages that fit your budget and travel plans, and that include everything from your tickets to the park to your hotel to meals and other sight-seeing options. The world of Disney can be affordable or luxurious, a week-long journey to discover all things Disney, or a brief adventure. It all depends on what you’re looking for!
Walt Disney World in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, has been in operation since 1971. The most famous area of this gigantic theme park is the Magic Kingdom, where children and adults can experience thrilling rides, watch as beloved characters roam the walkways, and take in exciting and entertaining shows. Walt Disney World also boasts three other main sections: EPCOT Center, the Animal Kingdom, and the MGM Studios. There are also two water parks, six golf courses, more than 20 hotels, shopping centers, an auto racing track, a sports complex, and countless areas for dining and entertainment offerings like concerts, Broadway-style shows, and even an ongoing Cirque du Soleil performance center.
Walt Disney World operates as a city within itself, so it’s easy to see how you could plan to spend your entire vacation there. Just exploring the theme parks alone could take several days, and there’s much more fun to be had outside of the park! For information on booking, prices, and availability, check with your travel agent or go to Disney’s website to request a free travel planner.
Disneyland in Anaheim, California, is the original Disney theme park and goes by the moniker of “The happiest place on earth”. It opened in 1955, and features sections like “Tomorrowland” with its visions of the future, “Fantasyland” with the stunning Sleeping Beauty Castle, and “Main Street USA”, the exciting and engaging entrance to the park itself. While Disneyland doesn’t offer the extent of amenities that you’ll find at its Florida counterpart, the park itself reflects the wonder and thrill of all things Disney, and shouldn’t be missed!
Disney also offers cruises, as well as theme parks around the world in such exotic locations as Paris and Hong Kong. Experience the magic and wonder of Disney for yourself, and you’ll want to return again and again!
