The Fairmont Hotel is known as “The Queen of Nob Hill�, and is probably the most famous hotel in San Francisco. This is where Tony Bennett first crooned his classic song “I Left My Heart in San Francisco�. The architecture and décor in this building is truly impressive, with Corinthian columns, rich brocade fabrics, and high gilded ceilings. Guest rooms are fitted with two-poster beds in warm mahogany, walk-in closets, replicated antiques, and rose-marble bathrooms. The many restaurants offer different types of cuisine, from classic French to contemporary. Guests who choose The Fairmont are truly staying in the lap of luxury.

The Mark Hopkins Hotel, which is now owned by the InterContinental chain, is another well-known San Francisco landmark. The “Top of the Mark� sky bar offers 100 different types of martinis and a spectacular view of the city.
