Hilton Hotel is the main brand in the Hilton Hotels Corporation, and one of the most recognized names in the travel industry. The famed Waldorf Astoria is a Hilton Hotel, as well as over 500 properties in major cities around the world.

Hilton Hotels was started by Conrad Hilton, with his first property in Cisco, Texas in 1919. There are currently seven different brands under the Hilton Hotel umbrella, and each one offers a distinct and impressive chain of hotels. Conrad Luxury Hotels is perhaps the most exclusive, offering luxury accommodations for first-class travelers. Conrad began in 1982, and has since built and acquired numerous hotel properties in Europe, Asia, Australia, and many other countries across the globe.

The Doubletree chain of hotels also belongs to the Hilton family. Famous for their scrumptious chocolate chip cookies, Doubletree Hotels operate nearly 200 locations across the United States, Canada, and Latin America. They also have a branch of resorts in major tourist cities, which feature excellent golfing, tennis, and spas.

Embassy Suites played a major role in the creation of all-suite hotels, and is now the largest chain of upscale suite-based properties. Boasting over 170 properties in North America and Latin America, their suites are both luxurious and comfortable, run by professional and welcoming staff.

Hampton is another Hilton Hotel brand, including both Hampton and Hampton Inns. With a variety of offerings including full-service suites and budget rooms, Hampton owns and operates over 1,500 locations across the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. They provide internet access in all rooms, complimentary hot breakfasts, in-room movie channels, and a special members club that offer points and air miles.

The Hilton Garden Inn offers a wide variety of amenities that appeal to vacationers and business travelers alike. With golf packages, fitness centers, spas, appliances in the guest rooms like microwaves and coffee makers, swimming pools and whirlpools, guests can easily make themselves at home. High speed internet access and ergonomic computer chairs add to the luxury, especially for those traveling on business.

Homewood Suites is yet another Hilton Hotel chain. The suites offered here are described as “residential-style”, and were created to suit those who are away for longer than just a couple of nights. Fully-equipped kitchens, spacious bedrooms, sitting rooms, and complimentary hot breakfasts are just some of the luxuries you’ll find at Homewood Suites.

With such a wide assortment of brands and properties, there’s sure to be a Hilton Hotel that matches your style and travel needs.
