If you’re considering spending your holiday at a Disney resort, you can choose from a number of Disney vacation packages that are put together to give you the full Disney experience at a cost that is sometimes much less than if you purchased each element separately. Whether you’re visiting Walt Disney World in Florida, Disneyland in California, or taking a Disney cruise, there are Disney vacation packages to suit everyone’s needs.
Disney vacation packages offer almost everything you’ll need to enjoy your stay at a Disney resort. You can choose to stay in one of the dozens of on-site resorts, which range from value accommodations to deluxe resorts and spas. Transportation to and from the airport, as well as from your resort to the theme parks and other attractions, is all provided. And of course, tickets to all of the theme parks are included in the package price.
When booking your vacation packages through the Walt Disney Travel Company (which can be booked directly or through a travel agent), you’ll also be able to get your airfare included. Most of the time, depending on the airline, you’ll have the opportunity to travel on a discounted charter flight. This is especially true during peak season, when flights are plentiful.
Disney vacation packages come in a wide range of offerings. The basic package includes your accommodations and theme park tickets, but you can upgrade the packages to include other elements that you might find convenient. The Disney Plus Dining package offers two meals and a snack each day, per person, on top of the basic package. A premium package gives you the basic package plus three sit-down meals per day, and tickets to shows and park tours. There is also a deluxe version of the vacation package that offers all of the perks in the premium package, as well as unlimited rentals of things like bicycles and boats, reserved seating for shows, plus golf, spa treatments, child care, room service, and a host of other luxuries.
One important thing to note when booking a Disney package vacation is that you’ll be paying for the entire trip before you leave, and Disney has some very restrictive cancellation policies. It is a very good idea to purchase travel insurance, especially trip cancellation insurance, at the time of booking.
