Disney Vacation Homes

Summary:   Have you ever considered Disney vacation homes as an alternative to hotels? If you love Disney vacations, but would like to get away from your vacation in the evenings, then consider looking into some Disney vacation homes!

Disney vacation homes are perfect for you if you prefer a home away from home during your vacation. Not everyone who visits a Disney theme park wants to be immersed in the atmosphere of Disney 24 hours a day. Sometimes it’s nice to spend a few hours at the theme parks, see the sights and take in the attractions, then retreat to the comfort of home - even if it isn’t your home that you’re returning to! Rather than book a hotel near Disney, a lot of travelers prefer accommodations in a rental home, also known as vacation homes.

Disney vacation homes are privately owned houses that the owners lease to vacationers to reside in for the duration of their holiday. The home owners are not on the premises while the house is being rented, so renters still get the same privacy they would in their own home.

These vacation homes are perfect for large families or groups of up to 12 people traveling together. You get the comfort and ease of a fully furnished house, complete with kitchen, multiple bathrooms, and a washer and dryer for your laundry, all within driving distance of Disney and other major attractions. This can work out to be much more cost effective for large groups, since you won’t have to rely on dining in restaurants or paying for hotel services like laundry or housekeeping.

Many of these private residences have a swimming pool on the premises, providing an excellent place to unwind and relax after a full day of sightseeing and hitting all of the main tourist spots. You’ll be close to shopping, both in terms of malls and souvenir shops as well as grocery stores and basic services, and if you fancy eating out, there are restaurants of all kinds, from fine dining to fast food, all a short drive away.

Disney vacation homes can be booked through many agencies that cater to Disney travelers. Check online or with your travel agent to find a reputable company that offers exactly what you’re looking for. Most vacation homes offer from 3 to 7 bedrooms, with spacious living quarters and quality upkeep. Linens and towels are often provided with the vacation rental property, but always check with the agency before you leave for your vacation.

Booking a Disney vacation home can not only be less expensive than purchasing a complete Disney package or staying at a local hotel, it also provides a great deal of comfort to those who stay there. Nothing is more relaxing after spending the day in the sunshine walking, swimming, biking, and taking in the sights than an evening spent in the comfort of a well-kept, cozy home!
