To join Coastal Vacations, you must first purchase a series of membership cards. These cards provide discounts at a variety of different travel service providers for various travel products and services. The packages start at about $1295 for a Level 1 package, and go up to $11,000 for the Platinum package. There are other fees as well, including yearly membership dues and taxes.
With the packages, you’ll receive vouchers for “free” cruises and vacation packages. While you won’t have to pay the published fares for these trips, you will be responsible for federal and state taxes, port fees and taxes, and a small administrative surcharge. The membership cards are not transferable, but the vouchers for trips are. You can give them away to friends, family members, or as business incentives or charitable donations.
Coastal Vacations is a reliable travel company for those who can make frequent use of the discounts.
