Summary:   Those going to travel Bangkok will find an incredible choice of Bangkok hotels. From grand and opulent to staid and economical, when you travel Bangkok you'll find Bangkok hotels to fit any budget and need.

Thailand is host to some of the most stunning hotels in Asia, and business travelers will be especially be thankful for the accommodations in Bangkok, where state-of-the-art facilities do not compromise for hospitality and service. Chain hotels in the five- and four- star category abound, offering hundreds of elegantly furnished rooms, and conference rooms equipped with the latest technology can provide. On the other end of the spectrum, backpackers and those who travel on a budget will also be glad to know that clean, safe, and functional accommodations can also be had even on a shoestring budget.

Business and first-time visitors to Bangkok can never go wrong with the chain hotels. If your budget allows, then go and take your pick of brand hotel. Among the most luxurious are the Bangkok Marriott Resort and Spa along Charoennakorn Road. The hotel’s offer of a cruise along the Choa Phraya river will be welcome especially to those on a tight schedule. Take the Manohra Song Cruise and grab the opportunity to see more of Bangkok and the former Thai capital, Ayutthaya, while having cocktails or dinner. You may even want to spend the night in one of the cabins the century-old teak barge is outfitted with. For a five-star rating, this hotel’s rates are surprisingly affordable, with deluxe rooms starting from just $155 per night.

Looking for something even cheaper? The Majestic Suites Hotel may not live up to its name in terms of size, but for about $50 for a deluxe room, it’s a fair deal. The amenities are pretty basic –satellite TV, fridge and a safe– but the rooms are clean, comfortable, and unlike most budget hotels, the hotel is not drab and stuffy. Depending on how you look at it, the fact that the hotel lies exactly before the Sukhumvit and the Nana Skytrain station may be a plus point or something to complain about. It can be loud and busy, but on the other hand, it also means convenient mobility and access to a lively nightscene.

Naturally, there are hotels in Bangkok to fit every budget, extending to both sides of the spectrum. But no matter where you choose to stay, book early and compare your travel agents’ quotes with internet rates. Often, you get considerable discounts when booking online!
